QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered by the ARDMS (or equivalent) in the appropriate specialty licensed ARDMS Ultrasound Technologist.
Competence in diagnostic & therapeutic Ultrasound procedures performed at this facility.
Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, facilitation, conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated excellence with listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a complex and changing working environment.
Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of computer software related to electronic imaging and clinical information management.

We currently have full-time or flexible per diem ultrasound positions. Our company is currently working with a medical center.

SOME ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
-Operates ultrasound and related medical equipment to complete a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
-Produces acceptable images by determining proper technical factors based on individual patients and/or procedures.
-Orders, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals according to accepted practices.

-Effectively uses computer systems (such as HIS, RIS, PACS) to process, access and distribute appropriate department and patient procedure information.
-Participates in quality assurance/quality control activities as required.
-Performs other functions as assigned.
